Terms & Conditions
(This is a brief summary of the Terms and Conditions that are contained within our rental contract, please read carefully)

Whats Included
• All taxes + IVA (VAT)
• Vehicle Insurance, excess applies
	There is an excess of 300€ plus towing fees on the vehicles and an excess of 600€ plus towing fees on the multi purpose vehicles and people carriers which is only payable where any damage is caused where the blame is apportioned to the hirer or driver of the vehicle. The excess also applies if the car is stolen with the key or for any replacement of keys.

	All drivers must have held a full driving licence for 3 years or more

	Alicante and San Javier (Murcia)
• Free Home Pick up Service
	Torrevieja & surrounding areas.

• Replacement keys
	Vehicle keys are chip coded and are costly to replace and can take up to four weeks for a replacement.
• Damage to tyres and wheels
• Personal Belongings
	The hirer will pay the costs of repairing the damage to the vehicle if there is something left in the car and the car is broken into. The hirer is informed that any personal object left inside of the car is not insured.
• Incorrect Fuel
	It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the correct fuel is deposited into the vehicle, if not the hirer shall pay any costs incurred to repair the vehicle.

Negligence
The hirer is responsible for damages to the rental vehicle if it’s caused by negligence by the hirer or driver of the vehicle. This includes driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Accidents
In the event of an accident or breakdown involving your vehicle, you have to notify the company immediately.
Driving restrictions
The car cannot be taken abroad, the insurance only covers mainland Spain.
Driving Licence
The hirer must have held a full driving licence with more than 3 years experience, from the date of hire, unless previously arranged with Coys Rent A Car.
Documents Required
To drive a Coys rent-a-car you must provide at the time of hire, an original full valid driving licence and passport. EWC - Excess Waiver Cover The EWC (Excess Waiver Charge) is an optional financial payment of 2.50 Euros per day ( groups A - E) and 3,50€ per day (groupsF & G). This payment waivers the excess in the contract which will either be 300 ( groups A - E) or 600 ( groups F & G )Euros depending on the model of car you hire.
